students will devise their own pantomime and perform this in the Spring term

to work with Professional theatre practitioners, and visit local theatres to
see professional performances. |

GCSE Drama GCSE coursework Unit 1 Drama Exploration This unit of course work
is concerned with the use of drama to
explore ideas and issues. Students have the opportunity to use
drama forms to deepen their knowledge
and to communicate this through the medium of drama. UNIT 2 The purpose of this unit
is to give students knowledge and
understanding of the ways in which playwrights
and performers, use the medium of drama to communicate
their ideas to an audience. Examination This Paper is concerned
with the skills required in drama to
perform work to an audience. Students have
the opportunity to demonstrate their skills
as performers or in a theatre craft using any appropriate
material as a stimulus for
performance. Students may choose to
perform an existing play script. |
