Ryton Parents – Set Information
There are eight
teaching groups.
We divide all
of year 7 into two halves called ’O’ and ‘P’. The ability of the students in
each half will be the same.

lessons you will be placed in either:
O1 O2 O3 O4
P1 P2 P3 P4
O1 and P1 are the
most able groups and will be of similar ability.
For English and
general subjects such as History, Geography, Music, Art etc you will be placed
in either:
J1 J2 K1
L1 L2 M1 M2
J1 and L1 are the
most able groups and will be of similar ability.
