Units 1, 2 and 3 are all examined at the end of year 12 in summer examinations.  There are no January modules and no coursework.  There are opportunities to resit these units in the following January if necessary.  All three units carry equal weight and form 50% of the total points available for the Advanced GCE in Government and Politics.
