Present: Poor attendance - : 4 x year 7, Reece and Alex in Year 8, Craig Haugh in Year 9, Calum and Philip in Year 10. No Year 11 present.

Minutes of last meeting were read.
Suggestion made to replace year council with class council system. 2 reps are elected within each tutor group and time given in tutorial for class issues. This to be piloted with Year 7 in September 08.	Mrs Hitchenes will bring the suggestion to the pastoral meeting on 6^th May. If agreed, then system will go ahead from September.	Sept 08
New year 7 school council members to be elected through proper mini-election , with ballot boxes etc in September. Current school council to help with organising this, possibly do assembly for year 7 etc. Voting to be in local democracy week (October sometime).	As above.	Sept 08 but arrangements to be made during school council conference.
Assembly slips From sorted assembly slips, the top 5 concerns for students were: State of toilets PE and after school clubs Use of main door for all students Pay attention to good students as well as bad More things to do at breaktime.	It was agreed that these issues could be brought to the LT meeting during the school council conference.
