Access to student toilets

  • All staff have been notified that students are allowed unrestricted access to toilets at all times during breaks
  • Prefects have also been informed of this decision

Students are now allowed unrestricted access to toilets during break and lunchtimes

Website for School Council

  • 2 members of the School Council worked alongside Mr Griffiths and the website section is now up and running.
  • Future minutes and agendas can be placed on the website.

Tables for outside dining

  • The Leadership Team discussed this at length and they are fully supportive of this request.
  • Speak to Miss N. Hardy for possible Enterprise funding.
  • Look at fundraising opportunities to pay for the outside dining area.
  • Ask if PTA can assist in funding.
  • Liaise with Mr Gibson for Health & Safety aspect of project.
  • Need to consider finding good locations and bins need to be provided for waste.

 

School Council to set up a working group for this project. Mrs Howarth will become involved in this project.

 

Aim to have seating installed by start of Summer Term.

Use of Main Hall for Lunches

This is a request that presently has to be turned down, because of the following:

  • The Hall is often set up for drama productions/Ryton Festival/exams etc.
  • Extra lunchtime supervisors would also be needed to cover the area.
  • Increased risk of Health & Safety problems due to hot food/liquids/trays being carried greater distances and these would also have to be carried down stairs.

 

 

Request cannot be sanctioned at present.
